Course Description
Latin American Cinema and Social Change
Instructor(s): Mary Kate Donovan, World Languages and Literatures
An examination of cinema as a tool for understanding social justice issues in Latin American. Students will study films in their socio-political and historical contexts and consider a variety of disciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches. In this way, student will develop skills in critical thinking and visual literacy.
